anyway getting to the point, he told my older cousin and mother that he hired a private investigator out of new haven to make sure i dont leave campus or do anything wrong. he said he pays $175 a month (which seems extremely low since its normally around $100 an hour). he said that my RA contacts the investigator and tells him what time i come home and when im in my room. my RA is a double major and barely has time to breathe so idk when she would have time to do this. he didnt say if t he “investigator” comes on campus or follows me on campus, but i doubt he would be able to get on campus and watch me like an investigator does, i even have trouble getting on campus sometimes and i go there. security is rediculously strict.
so basically i feel that it is impossible expecially in my case to h ave a private investigator follow me. but i was wondering if anyone ever heard anything else like this? or if this is even possible to do. i am 18 years old and will be 19 in january. i feel like colleges wouldnt allow this and RAs wouldnt do this. college strongly supports independance and encourages students not to go to their parents with problems but to find a solution on their own. SUGGESTIONS COMMENTS AND HELPPPPP PLEASE.
